Hello! I'll be sharing about a cozy cocoa haven in Kawagoe, Japan called "cocowa"
Nestled in the charming city of Kawagoe, Saitama Prefecture, lies a delightful cocoa haven known as Cocowa. This cozy café captured my heart with its warm ambiance and exquisite cocoa offerings.
Upon entering Cocowa, I was greeted by the inviting aroma of freshly brewed cocoa. The atmosphere was serene, with soft lighting and comfortable seating arrangements. My eyes were drawn to the menu, which boasted a variety of tantalizing cocoa flavors.
I opted for the Tiramisu Cocoa, while my friend indulged in the Strawberry Cocoa. Both choices were met with resounding approval as we savored the rich and decadent flavors. The hot chocolate was velvety smooth, with just the right balance of sweetness. (They also have iced cocoa too!)
One of the highlights of Cocowa is the option to dine in or take your cocoa to go. However, I was immediately drawn to the café's charming interior and aesthetic. I highly recommend spending some time inside, soaking in the cozy atmosphere while enjoying your cocoa. We waited for about 10-15 minutes.
Although I had already eaten lunch, the tantalizing aroma of the lunch menu and curry set tempted me. Unfortunately, I had to resist, but I made a mental note to return and sample these savory offerings in the future.
As I sat enjoying my cocoa, I noticed a notebook placed on one of the tables. Intrigued, I discovered that guests were encouraged to write anything they pleased. I love these interactive touches, so I eagerly penned down my thoughts and memories of my visit to Cocowa. It's moments like these that make for cherished memories.
Before leaving, I couldn't resist purchasing some drip packs of cocoa to enjoy at home with my family. The staff at Cocowa were incredibly friendly and even took the time to explain how to use the drip packs properly.
Living in Osaka, Kawagoe may be quite a distance away, but my experience at Cocowa has left a lasting impression. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, where I'll undoubtedly explore the other delightful cocoa flavors on offer. Until then, I'll cherish the memories of my time spent indulging in delicious hot chocolate at Cocowa.
